CARBON FIBRE REPAIRS
Non-invasive repair method. Internal as well as external repairs are possible. External repairs can be performed when the pipelines are still under pressure. Due to the inherent properties of carbon fibre and our vacuum epoxy infusion technology, reductions in diameter of pipes due to the repair are minimized. An optimal carbon fibre – epoxy ratio of 60/40 can be obtained. An equal and homogeneous end product is obtained. In PCP pipelines, the condition of the pre-stressed wires can still be monitored after carbon fibre repair. There is a safety factor of three.

Quick to install (Up to 40 Seals per day, per team). South African based production unit can produce seals at an output of up to 100 per day. Specific tools are available for tensioning and securing the tension of the stainless steel rims. Experienced technicians are available for training the client’s crew. Pressure testing is available if required.
